Vegetables are part of plants that are consumed by humans as food as part of a meal. The original meaning is still commonly used and is applied to plants collectively to refer to all edible plant matter, including the flowers,fruits,stems,leaves,roots,and seeds.

Potato

Potato is a starchy, tuberous crop from the perennial nightshade solanum ,tuberosum. in many contexts, potato refers to the edible tuber, but it can also refer to the plant itself. Common or slang terms includes tater and spud. Potatos were introduced to europe in the second half of the 16th century by the Spanish.

Carrot

Carrot is a root vegetable, usually orange in colour,though purple,black,red,white,and yellow cultivers exist. Carrots are a domesticated form of the wild carrot, Daucus carota, native to Europe and Southwestern Asia.

Onions

Onion,also known as the bulb onion or common onion,is a vegetable that is the most widely cultivated species of the Genus Allum. its close relatives include the Garic, leek, chive, and chinese onion. this includes the other type onion term shallots considered to be the closest relative of normal onion in the family

Tomatoes

Tomato is the edible, often is red ,berry of the nightshade solanum lycoperisicum, commonly known as a tomato plant. The species originated in western South America. The nahuati word tomatl gave rise to the spanish word tomate , from which the English word tomato derived .

Shallots

Shallots is a type of onion, specifically a botanical variety of the species Allum cepa. The shallot was formely classified as a seperate species, A. ascalonicum, a name now considered synonym of the currently accepted name. its closest relatives include the garlic, leek, chive, and chinese onion.
